Annsbert Dann Lewis is a musician, filmmaker, and producer from Houston, Texas. Starting out with a bedroom recording project in 2020, he began to write and release music as Annsbert, while working as a commercial cinematographer. In June of 2020, he released a short EP of ambient lofi tracks, called For You Alone, and then went on to put out a concept album, titled Son of a King, a “prodigal son”-esqe portrayal of a young prince and his journey into maturity. Annsbert continues to record and produce handmade soundtracks from the heart, capturing human emotion through sweeping soundscapes and and visual art.

A collection of contemplative tracks released during a time of change and discernment, the project explores the pursuit for the heart of God amidst adversity and struggle. Inspired by Tanner’s “Annunciation”, It offers an ode to the fortitude and trust of the Virgin Mary.

Son of a King Album ~ August 2023.
Exploring the relationship between a kingly father and his son, this album captures the essence of the entitlement we hold as children of God, while acknowledging that it is often abused, in the absence of a relationship with the Father. Inspired by the emotion of film, this album features various cinematic orchestras and motifs.
